Dr. Nikolaos Perakis graduated with honors in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics at the University of Bologna in 1994. In 1998, he obtained the Swiss Degree in Médecine Dentaire from the University of Geneva, followed by a Ph.D. in 2002 and a specialization in Swiss Prosthetics in 2004.

He is an active member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED), the Italian Academy of Conservative and Restorative Dentistry (AIC), and the Swiss Society of Prosthetics (SSRD).

Dr. Perakis has lectured and conducted courses at prominent universities both in Italy and abroad, including Harvard University in Boston (MA), the University of Southern California USC in Los Angeles (CA), Université de Strasbourg in France, Université de Genève in Switzerland, University of Athens in Greece, and universities in Naples, Genoa, Padua, and Bologna in Italy.

He is a speaker at national and international conferences, an author of various scientific publications, and contributor to chapters in books such as “Odontoiatria Restaurativa Estetica” by the Italian Academy of Conservative and Restorative Dentistry (AIC) (Quintessence Publishing, 2020).

Dr. Perakis serves as a Reviewer for the “International Journal of Esthetic Dentistry.” In 2017, he received the “Case of the Year” award from the Angle Orthodontic Society for his multidisciplinary treatment with digital techniques, alongside Dr. Renato Cocconi of Parma.
