Dr. Giacomo Ori graduated in dentistry with 110 cum laude at the University of Bologna in 1998. In 2000 he moved to Boston (USA) for research in oral biology at the University of Boston.
In 2002 he obtained the Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at the University of Boston, where he received the “outstanding student of the year” award.

In 2005, he obtained the Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in prosthetics after a three-year specialization course at the same university. He receives the “Baraban Award”, prize for “best student over the three years”. Since 2006 he has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics.

Since 2016 he has been an active member of the Italian Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry (AIOP) and Chairman of the Scientific Commission for the two-year period 2021-2023.
He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Dental Traumatology.
He is co-author of publications in national and international journals.

He works as a freelancer limited to prosthetics and conservative dentistry in Casalecchio di Reno at the associated studio COBE Dental.
